I went to the Pearlstein Resort Center (WI) for the artist retreat in March organized by Lilach Schrag.  I spent for three days working on my new project, discussing with other artists at night.  It was wonderful to be isolated from a daily routine.  Here are some pictures taken by Lilach Scharag.
papers were dyed by indigo, then painted with Kihada and walnut.  Then put them together with glue on rice paper by traditional Japanese scrol making technique.  this is not finished yet.  I will cut more.
Cut out images of birds.  The theme is "traces" of presence.

Cut with knife.
